My interest in photography started in 1971, while serving in Korea with the U.S. Army. I retired from the U.S. Army in 1989 as a Chief Warrant Officer Three. I worked as an Information Technology manager for fourteen years in the District of Columbia and currently I have retired from the Pasco County Sheriff's office.
In my time, I have taken landscapes, portraits, model portfolios, weddings and glamour photographs. I have used and understand Black & White film and print processing, slide processing, and now I have converted my photographic workflow to a digital process. My interest have turned to working in the studio, producing casual portraits with low key or glamour lighting, utilizing a one-on-one, low-stress photographic session.
I currently have a studio established in my home, which allows me to control the lighting and backdrops I use and allows for a more private session if required. My studio equipment includes two - 200 WS monolights; two - 150 WS monolights, various colors of backdrops and several light modifiers to include, umbrellas, soft boxes, snoots, barndoors, grids, gels, and beauty dish.
I prefer to use very little props or anything that will distract the viewer from the subject of the photograph.
My website provides unique landscape, portrait, stock and glamour photography services across Tampa Bay.
I no longer shoot weddings.
